Who We Are

TRAINR is a personal training session tracker app available on iOS. The app is operated by the TRAINR team and accessible at trainronline.com. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@trainronline.com.

Information We Collect

When you create an account and use TRAINR, we collect the following:

• Email address — used to create and identify your account
• Name — displayed in the app and to others in your squad
• Session plan data — your start date, total sessions, sessions per month, and the amount you paid for your package
• Workout and cardio logs — dates, exercise details (such as duration, distance, incline, steps, and calories), and optional notes you enter
• Meal photos and captions — if you choose to share a meal, the photo and any caption you add are uploaded and shown to members of your squad
• Squad activity — your logged activity, reactions, and poll responses are visible to your trainer and other members of the same squad
• Trainer & client information — if you use TRAINR as a trainer, the client details you enter (name, contact info, age, gender, goals, notes, and package details) and the sessions you schedule

We do not collect payment card information or precise location data.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely to provide the TRAINR service:

• To create and manage your account
• To store and sync your plans, workouts, cardio, and logs across devices
• To display your progress, stats, and history in the app
• To power Squad features — sharing activity, meals, reactions, and polls with members who share the same trainer
• To let trainers manage clients, schedules, and sessions
• To send account-related emails such as email verification and password reset

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose beyond operating the app.

Content You Share With Your Squad

TRAINR includes social features. When you join a squad using a trainer's invite code, certain activity — your logged sessions and cardio, meal photos and captions you choose to share, reactions, and poll answers — becomes visible to your trainer and to other members of that squad. Only share content you are comfortable showing to your squad. You can choose not to share meals, and you remain in control of what you post.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database and storage platform. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and encrypted at rest.

Row-level security is enforced — your private data is only accessible by you and, where relevant, the trainer or squad you have chosen to share it with. No unrelated user can view your data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties, except:

• Supabase — our database, authentication, and storage provider, who stores your data on our behalf under their own privacy policy
• Members of your squad — content you choose to share is visible to your trainer and squad members, as described above
• Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or governmental authority

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — including your session plan and workout logs — is permanently deleted within 30 days.

To request account deletion, email support@trainronline.com with the subject line "Delete My Account".

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a portable format

Children's Privacy

TRAINR is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
